Why the name Sunnyside Wellness?

Sunnyside Wellness got its name from my grandparents' home, which our family calls “Sunnyside.” It sits on a beautiful lake facing east, so you can always watch the most beautiful sunrise.

Sunnyside Wellness is an ode to my grandmother, who epitomizes resiliency, positivity, and courage. She has an incredible way of making even the hardest days seem a little brighter and life feeling a little warmer.

A Little about me

My passion for mental well-being comes from my personal experiences with depression and anxiety. Having faced these challenges firsthand, I understand how isolating and overwhelming they can feel. But through my journey, I discovered the power of self-care, resilience, and seeking support. These struggles led me to a deeper understanding of mental health, and now, I’m dedicated to helping others navigate their paths toward healing. My mission is to create a safe, compassionate space where individuals can explore their feelings, build coping skills, and embrace their true potential. I believe that mental well-being isn’t just about managing symptoms, but about nurturing your mind and spirit to lead a more fulfilled, balanced life.

My experience

I hold a master’s degree in clinical social work and have completed various mental health trainings. I have been working in the mental/behavioral health field for nearly 6 years now and still LOVE it. I currently work full time as a psychotherapist at a group practice. As a therapist, my area of expertise includes anxiety, depression, and perinatal mental health.

My goal is that I can show up for you with a warm and authentic demeanor that allows you to feel safe and comfortable exploring uncomfortable topics. I believe that YOU are the expert in your own life and I will walk alongside you in your search for safety, meaning, belonging, healing, hope, and love.
